Ekon food is an initiative started by Chef Dasun Maudella to give people an insight in the mind of a professional chef with an experience of over 13 years working in a professional kitchen.
Back in 2007, when he first decided to take his first step in the pastry section of a hotel, he immediately fell in love with the massive energy, the aromas, the chaos and most importantly the ingenuity that goes into making the simplest of things.
His passion for this skill brought him to Dubai which led him to work in hotels like Rotana, The Address and Atlantis The Palm and currently working as a Pastry Chef at the well renowned restaurant group !
The 32 year old, now wants to bring his experience on the table for all of us to enjoy his recipes and get the overview of how its made and in the best & simplest way possible.
He’s looking forward to enter your kitchen through his recipes and would love to guide you through this experience!
